About The Hippie Shake 

The company, which has amassed a social media following of over 315k and now distributes internationally, was first set up as an online 60s & 70s vintage clothing store in 2015. Having noticed an ever-increasing shortage of good quality vintage clothing from this decade, the brand evolved to start producing and distributing its own unique vintage-inspired clothing lines.

Born out of Naomi’s love for vintage clothing and a desire to reduce the impact of mass-produced clothing, The Hippie Shake released its first and second limited-edition collections in 2018 which quickly amassed a global following and featured on The Guardian’s front page.

The rapid growth of the company over 6 years has turned the couple’s side hustle passion into a full-time business which they now run out of Studio 34, their 70s inspired office in Deptford, London.

 

The Role 

The Hippie Shake are recruiting a Customer Service Assistant (Part Time) to join our small London based team. The ideal candidate must have a genuine passion for delivering an excellent customer experience

- Pay: £100 a day 

- Hours: 9am – 5.30pm /  2-3 days a week (flexible days) 

- You will be required to bring your own laptop

 

Key Responsibilities 

- Effectively dealing with all customer emails including all issues and queries while always withholding the high customer service standards we expect.

- Building and maintaining relationships with our customer base.

- Processing returns though Shopify and organising stock to go back to our shipment warehouse.

- Being punctual and reliable.

 

Requirements 

- Confident IT skills

- 1+ year of Customer service experience

- Fast Learner & Enthusiastic

- Strong organisational skills

- Experience using Microsoft and Google programs including Excel.

- Demonstrated success in problem solving.

- To thrive off a fast paced and growth-oriented business.

- The ability to work efficiently with an eye for detail.

- Being punctual and reliable.

 Location 

SE14, London the chosen candidate will be required to work from the HQ. Candidates must be able to commute via car or public transport without issues.
