If I had to sum up Underground in one image, it would be London street style in 1969. Big coats, flared trousers, knee-high boots and enormous sunglasses. Rich browns and reds against the colour and graphics of the city. People dressed brilliantly, but still dressed for an actual day of getting around London.

A new series where we sit down with the dreamers, wanderers and free spirits who wear our pieces out into the world. First up is Suzan Köcher, the voice and vision behind Suzan Köcher's Suprafon.

Some of the best things happen by accident. We were on a US road trip, staying in a 70s-inspired Airbnb, when the wallpaper stopped us in our tracks - spectacularly psychedelic and designed by the person who owned it, Erin Cadigan. A designer, illustrator and fashion professor.

Denim has always been the foundation of the way I dress. It's the piece everything else is built around. Whether it's a pair of flares, a jumpsuit or a great shirt, once you find the right fit, it becomes something you reach for without even thinking.

This design has been in development for a long time, working closely with our Indian makers to get the technique right. The embroidery, the mirror work, the balance of it all, it had to feel authentic to the original inspiration while still working as a piece you can wear now.

I really wanted this collection to celebrate print and colour as a form of escapism for summer. Everything else was built around the print Erin created, and it’s one of my favourites we’ve ever done. The colours feel deep and saturated, but still grounded in a way that feels true to us.

Hey Dolls, I am so thrilled to have The Hippie Shake co-create my trippy flower love garments based on my love-in days and nights in Laurel Canyon and the Sunset strip! I’m crazy about every piece but here are a few of my faves.

For me, being “in bloom” is about transitioning into something new, something brighter and more colourful. Pamela embodies that idea beautifully. Her smile, her stories and her style are just as captivating now as they were in photographs from the 1960s. She shows us that we can be blooming throughout our whole lives.

Over the years so many of you have asked for more black pieces, and every time we dipped our toes into that world the response was overwhelming. From the black cape in On Tour ’74 to the monochrome moments in Rising of the Moon, there was a feeling that something darker and more magnetic was waiting in the wings.
