Magic Carpet Ride: The Lookbook

Magic Carpet Ride is rooted in festival fields, drawing from the golden age of bohemia, where folk detail, festival dressing and richly layered influences from across the world came together in the most beautiful way.

Inspired by decorative carpets and beautifully ornate textiles, the collection is built around bold, story-filled prints, intricate embroidery and crochet textures that feel rich with history.

From floaty kaftans and dramatic capes to embroidered maxis, flowing dresses and soft cotton pieces, the collection carries that unmistakable sense of freedom that defined an era.

Antique carpet motifs, sun-faded stripes, mirror work and handcrafted details run throughout, echoing vintage festival style and embroidered keepsakes. Every piece has that collected feel, like something discovered along the way.

It’s the kind of collection that feels like it’s been gathered over time, piece by piece, each one like something found on some faraway adventure.

All in the Details

Embroidery sits at the heart of everything we do. It’s one of the most beautiful ways to adorn clothing, something that turns each piece into more than just something you wear.

In this collection, the techniques feel more elevated than ever. Hand-finished beading, knotting and mirror work, alongside appliqué, plaited tassels and tapestry-style embroidery, all brought together with a real sense of care and attention.

It’s placed with intention, framing necklines, cuffs, bodices, skirts and hems in ways that feel considered but never overworked.

Each piece feels like something you’ve found rather than bought. Crafted, detailed and already full of character, ready to be worn your own way, whether that’s on holiday, at a festival or just making everyday feel that little bit more special.

Capes That Finish The Look

We’re calling it now, the cape is the star of the show this summer.

Versatile, expressive and made to complete the look, whether that’s poolside on holiday with oversized sunglasses and jet-set energy, or out in a field with friends as the day turns into evening. These are the pieces that elevate everything else.

The Into the Night Rainbow Cape is made for standing out, with panels that catch the light like stained glass. The cream version takes on a softer mood, a nod to that iconic Daisy Jones look, and can be styled in so many ways, even for bridal.

The Cassia Crochet Cape feels more relaxed. An easy layer for travelling, thrown over your favourite pieces when you want something extra without hiding the look underneath.

Make everyday feel a little more special this summer, because every dreamer deserves a cape.

Made for Golden Hour

There’s a moment in the day when everything feels a little softer.

The sun is low, the light turns warm and the energy shifts. You’re no longer rushing anywhere, just staying in the moment a little longer. Drinks in hand, music playing, the kind of evening that unfolds without a plan.

These are the pieces made for that time.

Colour feels richer, metallic threads catch the last of the light and textures come alive as you move. Whether it’s a festival crowd at sunset or a long evening that starts outside and carries on into the night, everything feels a little more considered without trying too hard.

This is when what you’re wearing starts to matter more, when the details come into their own and the whole look just works.

The Story Behind The Tapestry Print

The print was always the starting point.

We wanted to create something that felt like a tapestry or a carpet, rich, detailed and designed to be worn on a larger scale. Something that could hold its own across oversized sleeves and flowing kaftan shapes.

Inspired by the bohemian world of Thea Porter, our print designer Erin hand drew the design, starting with bold, ornate motifs, almost mandala-like in scale, before building the repeat around them. The result feels intricate but balanced, with each element working together rather than competing.

The palette is full of colour, but still grounded. Deep blues and rich browns sit alongside warmer tones, making it easy to style back with denim or simpler pieces when you want to let the print lead.

It’s the kind of print that doesn’t need much else. Worn across full pieces or placed in panels, it does the work on its own, bold, expressive and made to be seen.

Magic Carpet Ride: The Story Behind the Collection

A note from Naomi Hession

Inspired by the Steppenwolf song, I wanted to create something rich, layered and full of depth, a tapestry-style design that felt like it had a history to it.
